What's on and When at Broadway URC
Church services.
Services are held at 10.30 a.m. every Sunday. The first Sunday of the month includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion to which all are invited. You do not have to be a member of this church, anyone can attend of whatever denomination, or none. The other services can vary from the traditional hymns and readings to the young style of the Pilots group. We have special services on particular topics, e.g. The work of the Leprosy Mission, the Israel and Palestinian situation, One World Week, Christian Aid, as well as the usual Festival services. The services are taken by Ministers, Lay Preachers, members of our own church and visiting speakers. So, you will see we have a wide variety of services, that not only worship God, but inform us of matters that as Christians we should be aware of and have concern for. Children are welcome and can be taken to the hall for their own stories by Criminal Records Bureau approved members if necessary, but we do not have a regular children's part of the service at the moment. The church secretary is Mrs. Christine Waller who can be contacted on 01386 833494 or e-mail: christinewaller@talktalk.net.
